According to foreign media reports, on Tuesday local time, chip manufacturer AMD released a new Ryzen 5000 series mobile processor at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

AMD CEO Lisa Su called the series "the most powerful personal computer processor ever."

Like the 4000 series, the Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors are divided into the H series and the U series for two distinct audiences. The H series are high-performance processors designed for gaming laptops and mobile workstations, and the U series are low-power processors for ultra-portable laptops.

In the original Ryzen 5000 series of mobile processors, there are a total of 13 processors, most of which are based on the 7nm Zen 3 architecture.

Among U series processors, Ryzen 7 5800U and Ryzen 5 5600U are based on Zen 3 architecture, and Ryzen 3 5300U, Ryzen 5 5500U, and Ryzen 7 5700U are all based on Zen 2 architecture.

AMD predicts that in 2021, there will be more than 150 consumer-grade and commercial-grade laptops equipped with Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors.
