On the afternoon of March 1, the signing ceremony for the settlement of the School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University (Hangzhou Electric Power Shaoxing Campus) was held. Municipal Party Secretary Ma Weiguang, Hangzhou Dianzi University Party Secretary Wang Xingjie delivered speeches, Municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary and Mayor Sheng Yuechun presided over, Hangzhou Dianzi University President Zhu Zefei, municipal leaders Lu Wei, Gu Tao, and Shao Quanmao attended, and New District leaders Jin Xiaoming and Yuan Jian , Hu Wenwei and others participated.
At the ceremony, Shaoxing Municipal Government, Hangzhou Dianzi University and Shaoxing Binhai New Area signed a cooperation framework agreement. According to the agreement, the three parties will focus on the cross-discipline of integrated circuit science and engineering, and jointly build the College of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering of Hangzhou Dianzi University (Hangzhou Electric Power Shaoxing Campus), and build a new type of higher education carrier integrating talent training, technological innovation and achievement transformation.
The integrated circuit discipline of Hangzhou Dianzi University has a long history and good conditions. At present, the school has a complete integrated circuit undergraduate, master, doctoral and post-doctoral training system, and the integrated circuit major has been selected as a national first-class construction major. The signing and landing of this project is of milestone significance, which will give the development of Shaoxing integrated circuit industry wings to take off and inject strong impetus.
The project is based in Binhai New Area, with a planned total investment of no less than 2 billion yuan, and a comprehensive land plan of about 500 mu. The three parties will adhere to the principle of "resource complementarity, mutual benefit, win-win cooperation, and common development" to jointly promote the construction of new engineering, and strive to create a highland for training integrated circuit talents, a highland for information technology research and development, and a highland for transformation of cutting-edge technology.
